Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of NUHA (nuhaos.com), a school operating system provided by Horfay Taqnia Private Limited, Floor 2nd, Block A, STPI, SIDCO, Rangreth, Srinagar — 191132, Jammu & Kashmir, India. By registering a school or using NUHA, you accept them.

The service

  • NUHA provides school operations software: admissions, roster, attendance, homework, exams and report cards, fees visibility, communication, and AI-assisted drafting — as described on this site and delivered per your plan (Free, Pro or Elite; see Pricing).
  • The school's registering administrator confirms they are authorised to act for the school. Accounts for teachers, parents and students are provisioned by the school.
  • We may update, improve or modify features continuously; material reductions to a paid plan's capabilities will be notified in advance.

Plans, billing and the founding programme

  • Paid plans (Pro, Elite) are billed as subscriptions through our payment provider, Razorpay. Prices shown on the Pricing page; taxes as applicable.
  • Founding-programme seats provide the Pro plan free for the stated period, subject to the published activity condition: a school with no platform activity for 7 days after onboarding converts to the Free plan (the Free plan remains free forever).
  • Non-payment after the grace period downgrades the school to the Free plan; no data is deleted on downgrade.

Acceptable use

  • Enter only data you are entitled to hold. Schools must have parental consent for children's data, per our Privacy Policy and the DPDP Act, 2023.
  • No attempts to breach tenant isolation, probe other schools' data, or resell the service without a written agreement.
  • AI drafting features assist humans; the school is responsible for whatever it publishes or sends to parents.

Data

The school owns its data. Horfay processes it per the Privacy Policy, and returns or deletes it on request. On account termination, the school may request an export within 30 days.

Liability

NUHA is provided with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Horfay's aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid by the school in the 12 months preceding the claim; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

Schools may stop using NUHA at any time (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy). We may suspend accounts for material breach of these terms, unlawful content, or risk to other schools' data — with notice where practicable.

Governing law
